Austin Calendar 2007 Updates and News
Austin Fun Stuff
July-September 2007

Hi Mike!

Here's some more changes/corrections/news you should be aware of in the Austin Calendar 2007 you purchased. (There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of this email, if you'd rather be in the dark).

Win a FREE ACL Ticket!

So I've got this new website idea that I'm going to launch in the next month or so. To promote it, I will be holding a contest to win an ACL ticket. Chances are, the 223 people on this email list will be the only ones to know about it until word gets around. (Which bodes well for you if you're wanting to win.) I'll be sending an announcement out soon!

New Event: Flugtag Human Powered Flying Machine Thing

Homemade human-powered flying machines will be launched off a 22 foot ramp into Town Lake. After a few year hiatus, the event returns to Auditorium Shores on August 25. Free.

More Stuff to Do - do512.com

This is a newer site in Austin that I like, mainly for their weekly updates on Austin happenings. Events are ranked based on user recommendations. (For the record, this isn't an ad. I'm just passing this along because I like it). Check it out at:

Updates and Corrections

At the time of printing, Bat Fest was tentative for one day. It has been confirmed for two days, September 1 &2.  Find more info here:

Keep Austin Weird 5k/Festival Earlier This Year
The calendar has a tentative date in August for the Keep Austin Weird 5k, but as you may already know it was changed to mid-June after we went to print.

Please keep in mind that all dates printed were as given to us by the event organizers at the time of printing.

Please send any suggestions or feedback on festivals, the calendar itself, the website or the email list to feedback@AustinFunStuff.com

I promise to respond to all emails (unless my spam filter eats them...)
